Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd kick starts Sea FM’s ‘Give Me Five for Kids'.

Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal Pty Ltd (DBCT P/L) was pleased to announce its continual involvement in Sea FM Mackay and the Whitsundays charity initiative, Give Me 5 for Kids, with a donation of $5,000 to kick start their fundraising in 2014.

The annual fundraising drive has raised thousands of dollars for the children’s ward at Mackay Base and Proserpine Hospital.

This year, Sea FM will aim to raise its highest funds ever, which last year contributed to Give Me 5 for Kids incredible national tally of almost $2.5 million.

DBCT P/L Senior Specialist Public Relations and Communication, Sharon Johnston, and DBCT P/L site mascot, Hector made the announcement on SeaFM’s morning show with Jay and Dave.

“This is an amazing campaign to be involved in as 100% of the funds raised goes directly to help sick children in Mackay and Proserpine. We are proud to be making the first contribution to the fundraiser with $5,000.

“Dally Bay is a major employer in the Mackay Region and we have a strong corporate social responsibility ethos, and we love giving back where we can."
