We all have a responsibility to protect and preserve our environment. At Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal we understand the importance of handling the environment with care.
Dust
DBCT P/L utilise a number of controls across site to minimise dust impacts.
Noise
DBCT P/L undertakes noise monitoring in the community and implements measures to minimise noise impacts.
Water
At DBCT, we capture rainfall to onsite dams to be reused as industrial water. Water is managed at the site to maintain operational supply and compliance with environmental licence conditions for water release.
Waste
Waste streams at the terminal are segregated to maximise recycling and reuse opportunities; remaining waste is disposed of responsibly in line with relevant waste regulations.
Our Environmental Management System
DBCT P/L are ISO 14001 accredited. We are regularly audited and monitored to retain this internationally recognised accreditation. Our EMS fits with the Plan – Do – Check – Act model, designed to continually improve environmental performance of onsite activities.
